Introduction
Founded in 2017, Jiangsu Alternative Energy Vehicle Research Institute (JAEVRI) is a mixed ownership innovative company aiming at developing crucial technology and components for alternative energy vehicles. Setting its R&D centers in Yancheng, Jiangsu, JAEVRI was cofounded by Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, Yueda Group, Yancheng Economic-Technology Development Area and Jiangsu Automated Vehicle Co. Llp. JAEVRI consists of groups of technology experts, marketing experts and management experts with profound experience both abroad and domestic, providing advantages for both globalization and localization, while following an allocation system that organically combines the multi dimensions of entrepreneurs and employees. JAEVRI has four major departments: vehicle control and integration department, powertrain department, advanced engineering department and testing center (provides both internal and external services). JAEVRI’s major projects involve the development of powertrains and components for hybrid electric, battery electric, range extended electric vehicles, and researches on automated vehicle system, alternative energy, innovative manufacturing processes and materials, etc.
